Chandler is two remodeling markets in one city. Near the historic downtown square there are older homes with real character and floor plans built for a different decade. South and west of there, the 1990s and 2000s neighborhoods around Ocotillo and Fulton Ranch have square footage to spare and finishes that have aged out. Both of those are our kind of project.

The older homes closer to downtown tend to need the unglamorous work first, panels, plumbing, and the wall that is holding up the roof, before anybody gets to pick tile. The newer Chandler subdivisions are the opposite problem: the structure is fine, the footprint is generous, and the house simply needs a kitchen that is not walled off from the living room. We are licensed for the structural side, so an open floor plan is a project with a beam and an engineer, not a dead end.

Permits and review

Chandler runs its own Development Services department, and plans are submitted and reviewed electronically through the city's online portal, with a walk in plan review counter still available for residential and smaller commercial jobs. Fees are paid at submittal and inspections are scheduled through the same system. We pull the permit, we schedule the inspections, and you are not the one on hold with the city.
